Factors Determined Contribution of Female Framers to Household Food Security <br/>—A Study of Female Farmers in Northern Kordofan

The study aimed to explore the role of female farmers in securing food for their households. targeted North Kordofan state as population where 309 were selected by use multi stage stratified sample technique from five villages (Kazgail, Faris, Alebnoya, Shoshai and Fartangool), Shiekan locality. Structured questionnaire was prepared administered sampled respondents, face-to-face interviews. While 100% practiced farming, 37.9% them farming sole source living while 62.1% addition had other sources secured. Were 98% are framers, they involved full time only 2% par farming.
